On May 22, 2006, the Harrisville GrassCam had its two minutes of fame.  It was featured in a segment of WCVB-TV's Chronicle.  The video of the segment is here.

The story began in April.  Kathryn Farrelly, this edition's producer, was looking for something light to include in a Main Streets and Back Roads story on Harrisville, New Hampshire.  She Googled the terms Harrisville and odd, and after astutely weeding out most of the 33,000 items returned, she was left with the GrassCam.  A crew consisting of videographer Judi Guild, correspondent Ted Reinstein, and Kathryn visited the GrassCam on April 26, and the rest, as they say, is history.
